Post Primary Transfer Parental Guidance Leaflet - Check P7 class pages

  • Bookfair thanks!

    Thu 14 Apr 2011

Huge thanks to all the parents and children who visited the bookfair this week and spent their hard earned wages/pocket money. Because of your generosity we raised nearly £1800, 60% of which we get to keep to buy books for our class libraries. Added to the money raised in November each class received approximately £170 this year. Your children benefit greatly from the excellent books!

As well as giving money, some of you gave up your time to help out at the fair as well.

A special thanks to Sandra Mc Killop and Mairead Hamill, whose youngest children leave St. Bernard's in June and who have given up their time over many years, to volunteer at the bookfair.

Thank you last but not least to the P7 children who sold stationery and generally helped out over the past week.

  • School Bookfair 2

    Mon 11 Apr 2011
Our second bookfair of the year will be running from Monday April 11th to Thursday April 14th. As well as being a great place for the children to buy quality books by fantastic authors, the bookfair raises lots of money for our class libraries.
If any parent can spare time either from 8.45 - 9.15am each morning or 2.00 - 3.00pm each afternoon, to help at the bookfair, please give your name to Mrs Mc Nally or myself (Mrs Hackett P6H.)
A huge thanks to everyone for their continued support of this very worthwhile event in our school calendar.

7/4/11 - Great support from you parents to help out at the bookfair. Many thanks to you all!
