The Kerr Family
In Memory of Daniel Kerr’s dad Colm.
Daniel was in Primary Seven last year 
when his father Colm died. His mum Annmarie writes:
After being diagnosed with a rare lung condition Colm was assessed for a double lung transplant at the Freeman Institute of Transplantation in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Following five false calls where the lungs did not match and failing health, Colm finally received his new lungs on 10th June, 2014. Colm always said this was his second birthday! Colm remained especially grateful to the donor and their family for their selfless decision to donate their loved one’s organs. Their decision led to Colm having nine extra years to spend with his family and he lived life very much to the full appreciating his second chance at life.
