The garden and raised beds in June!
The tyres have been planted with bee attracting mix and wild flower mix. The raised beds have strawberries, potatoes and onions planted and in fact the strawberries are fruiting! In October the children gathered leaves from the school garden and left them in black bags in the garden, to rot down to become leaf mould. The leaf mould has now been put to good use as mulch around the strawberries, this will hopefully keep the weeds at bay and the moisture in the soil!
