Spring Has Arrived
P2D have a new school topic all about Spring. We have started to plant some seeds and we will set up various experiments to see what makes them grow and what they cannot do without. We have set up our Garden Centre and have a special garden centre shop where you can buy plants, booklets and even fruit and vegetables!!!!
We are exploring Narrative text- Jack and the Beanstalk and Three Billy Goats Gruff but also looking at factual texts about all the different varieties of beans and how beans grow.
Come and look at our new display board-where we have written our own versions of Jack and the Beanstalk.
We will link this into our numeracy work on digital time and also our number work-adding and subtracting-watch as our display unfolds.We are also working out which containers in our shop hold more water- as we learn about capacity.
