On Friday the Castlereagh Borough Council 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' bus came to our school. Noel, the driver/resident expert, gave us a very educational and entertaining insight into the 3 Rs.
We got to use handheld interactive devices so that we could select answers to many questions about the 3 Rs.This was a highly competitive event - William, Aoibheann and Matthew ended up winning with the highest total of correct answers but everyone participated enthusiastically.
Noel also showed us articles which had been made by reusing/recycling coke cans, ties, seatbelts and even old pants (!!!). He was impressed with our knowledge and has great hopes for our responsibilities as future guardians of our planet. A really funfilled and rewarding experience!
