P7S begin work in the school garden! Making compost and leaf mould!
The School garden is one of the many areas for improvement outlined on the Eco-Council Action Plan for 2013-2014.
Some of the girls fro the class collected autumn leaves to be stored in black plastic bags. Come the Spring the leaves will have decomposed and will be ready for use as compost or mulch for the raised beds!
The two compost bins have been filled using the green and brown waste from the raised beds that had been weeded!
