We did so well this year in Netball. We played 8-10 games in the Belfast League and qualified to the Finals. We came second in the Belfast Finals so immediately qualified to the Northern Ireland Finals which were held in Limavady. We trained every day and made our way up to Limavady on Saturday 4th June 2011. In Limavady we played 4 games and won each game, which meant we were through to the Semi-Finals. We beat St Joseph's in the Semi-Finals qualifying to the Final match of the day. Downey were the team to beat in the Final game. At half time we were winning 4-2, but unfortunately we were unlucky and Downey fought back. Downey scored a point in the last 30 seconds making it a 6-5 win to Downey. We were so disappointed. However I was so proud as the girls were gracious in defeat and fantastic ambassadors of our school. They were complimented throughout for fantastic and beautiful play. Well done girls!
