Let's Investigate Quadrilaterals
The boys and girls in our class took part in a mathematical investigation called 'Stringy Quads'.
The objective of the activity was to investigate the properties of quadrilateral shapes and, in particular, the associated lines of symmetry of each shape using a loop of string. The children worked in groups of 4, each child holding the string to make a side of their chosen quadrilateral.
