Learning about observational drawing and the design process.
First we sketched citrus fruits and Spring flowers focusing on line and shape. Next we looked closely at colour using chalk pastels.
Our task was to create a design, inspired by our drawings, to use as a motif for printing. This time we focused on pattern.
When we had decided on our design we etched it onto a polystyrene block.
Finally we printed our designs.
