Congratulations to our champion footballers .
Imagine playing 6 matches and only conceding 2 goals ?!!! That would be the envy of many a premiership team . Futsal is a version of indoor football with a smaller ball and a rolling 5-A-side squad …. St Bernard’s boys know how to play this game . We beat teams from as far and wide as Kings Park, Mullaglass, Hardy and Hamiltonsbawn .
Not only did we win the tournament and trophy that was held in Craigavon , we won player of the tournament !
It would be remiss to not acknowledge that behind every successful football team is a Dessie !!
Every Friday after school , hail rain or shine , the coach and his team train our children in football skills .
We should be very proud of our team and we look forward to hearing about their continued success as the year goes on .
