Castlereagh Borough Council Recycling and Education Officer visits St Bernards!

Kerry from Castlereagh Borough Council visited St Bernard's Primary School for an educational talk on the importance of reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill! The talk was interesting and extremely informative with plenty of interesting facts, figures and photographs!

Kerry was very impresswed with our waste reduction so far as the girls and boys from P1 to P7 are using the classroom caddies, happy holders and the big brown bins for organic waste.

The blue bin buddies had great craic emptying the paper bins too!
