Volunteers needed
St Bernard’s PTA needs enthusiastic volunteers to help establish this project.
There areupcoming gardening session that we need a lot of hands for in October. You don't have to be an expert, just happy to help.
You can sign up for full day or as little as one hour.
These sessions will focus on
- digging the trench along fence,
- native hedging planting,
- pond refurb and garden tidy up,
- autumn sow of wild flowers with a spring top up to follow.
We encourage you to bring gardening tools and wear gardening gloves, as we don't have any to supply. Spades and wheel barrows are much needed! We are also welcoming the school children to come along (with a grown up) to get digging.
Digging the trench for the hedge will be heavy and hard work, so plenty of volunteers will be needed. If you have access to a mini digger and would like to help, please contact Maeve.
