Dublin trip P7 2014

The boys and girls of Primary 7 arrived safely in Dublin today. After the short trip, we visited "Sea Life" in Bray, where we had the opportunity to look at and learn about various exotic sea life, touch sea anemones and starfish, along with watching the shy sea horses in the huge tanks.
After a picnic lunch outside on the promenade in Bray, we travelled north of the city to Croke Park. We had a tour of the stadium, did warm up exercises in the changing rooms and  got to experience running through the players' tunnel to the pitch! We climbed the dizzying heights of the upper Cusack and finished with a whistle stop tour of the museum, as well as a quick visit to the shop!
After another short journey, we arrived to our hotel, the White Sands Hotel, at the sea front in Portmarnock. After settling into our rooms, we enjoyed a delicious dinner before working it all off on a stroll along the sea front.
Now the children are safely tucked up in their beds for the night!
