Dublin Day One

After a number of technical, computer related problems I've finally managed to start
"The Dublin Daily Blog."

The day began brilliantly as the weather, bus, teachers and children arrived on time. The bus journey was smooth and uneventful with a brief stop a Apple Green for break and leg stretching. The next port of call was Marine Life in Bray. This was an extremely detailed and informative guided tour all about the marine life in and around the shores of Ireland and included sea horses, sharks and the famous clown fish Nemo!

After lunch on the Bray promenade followed by a genuine Italian ice-cream and a play on the beach it was time to head back up  north to the White Sands Hotel. The children quickly settled into their rooms after investigation and exploration of each others rooms and the Hotel itself! This of course was a very quiet and reserved affair!!

A wholesome homemade evening meal was served in the restaurant and the children were polite, courteous and respectful. The evening activity was a trip to the cinema to watch "Tomorrow Land" a movie that could be best described as Eco-Sci-fy  But with popcorn, sweets, drinks, a huge screen and plush seating it was certainly a pleasurable experience!

So at the minute all the cherubs are tucked in and the Hotel corridors are quiet as the children slumber and recharge their batteries for a 7.10am start and an action packed Day 2 Dublin!
